Darryl Hammond

Maverick Transportation announced Darryl Hammond from GSC from Blytheville, SC as their November 2022 Dedicated Driver of the Month. Hammond has been driving with Maverick since 2006 and was a previous Dedicated Driver of the Quarter in 2017.

"Darryl does an exceptional job as a safe driver," said his account manager, Phil Brock. "He checks to see when we need to have his empty trailer back to re-load and makes suggestions on how to better service the customer. Darryl is also a great critical thinker."

The Dedicated Driver of the Month program is a high honor for specially-selected Maverick drivers. Every month, Maverick recognizes one driver from the company's fleet who demonstrates exceptional commitment to their profession, while maintaining Maverick's standards of holding safety in the highest regard. At the end of the year, the Dedicated Driver of the Month committee will choose the Dedicated Driver of the Year, which is announced the following January.
