Ken Bunescu

2021

Maverick Transportation announced Ken Bunescu from RIN from DeKalb, IL as their February 2021 Dedicated Driver of the Month. Bunescu has been driving with Maverick since 2011.

"I’m nominating Ken because he has shown to be a true Maverick, he always strives for excellence," said Account Manager Maria Lopez-Torres. "He’s always willing to help and go the extra mile to fulfill what’s asked of him. Ken is a great asset for the account; he’s always willing to help me out with tracking equipment at the DC, and is always respectful and polite when we talk on the phone. He's an excellent driver, looking for ways to maximize his productivity, and is constantly doing so with safety in mind."

2020

Maverick Transportation announced Ken Bunescu of DeKalb, IL, as one of their 2020 Trainer Finalists. Bunescu has been driving with Maverick since June 2011.

"Ken is on the RIN Dedicated account," said Account Manager Maria Lopez. "He's enjoyed his almost-1 years with Maverick, and loves the fact that he's treated like family and couldn't picture himself driving for any other carrier. He's been training since 2013 and has trained a total of 38 students since!"

2019
