Roy Meyer

Maverick Transportation announced Roy Meyer from PTX from Wichita Falls, TX as their April 2021 Dedicated Driver of the Month. Meyer has been driving with Maverick since 2012.

"Roy is the kind of positive person that takes initiative and is self-driven, all the while balancing everything and doing it The Maverick Way®," said Account Manager Levi Roberts. "If something goes wrong with his trailer or load, he finds the appropriate people or solution and gets the problem solved on his own. I will probably never know the full extent of what he does to keep his truck moving and make loads on time due to the fact that he never does it for recognition. He always remains respectful, even when in stressful situations, and is one of my go-to’s when I need help working through a situation with a new driver that I have never dealt with before. If he drops a trailer or runs a load, I never even think about doing random inspections because I know the quality of driver that I have at hand. Roy is the epitome of what Maverick is about and would look great in a black hat."
