Justin Melvin

Maverick Transportation announced Justin Melvin of West Plains, MO, as one of their 2023 Trainer Finalists. Melvin has been a road trainer with Maverick for 6 years.

"I started working with Justin around seven years ago when he began training," said his fleet manager, Morgan Forrest. "I realized very quickly that Justin likes to stay busy and I have no doubt he does a great job of teaching his students the value of being productive. Justin also does a great job making sure his students are prepared to go solo with the come off his truck."

Outstanding service gets recognized at Maverick.

The Trainer of the Year program is a great addition to the OTR and Dedicated Driver of the Year Programs. It’s been designed to recognize Trainers who exemplify the Maverick Way. The Trainer of the Year Program, along with the annual Trainer Summit, will improve Maverick’s ability to gain valuable insight and feedback.
