Ken Bunescu

Maverick Transportation announced Ken Bunescu from RIN from DeKalb, IL as their February 2021 Dedicated Driver of the Month. Bunescu has been driving with Maverick since 2011. Ken was also named a Trainer Finalist in 2020.

"I’m nominating Ken because he has shown to be a true Maverick, he always strives for excellence," said Account Manager Maria Lopez-Torres. "He’s always willing to help and go the extra mile to fulfill what’s asked of him. Ken is a great asset for the account; he’s always willing to help me out with tracking equipment at the DC, and is always respectful and polite when we talk on the phone. He's an excellent driver, looking for ways to maximize his productivity, and is constantly doing so with safety in mind."

Outstanding service gets recognized at Maverick.

The Dedicated Driver of the Month program is a high honor for specially-selected Maverick drivers. Every month, Maverick recognizes one driver from the company's fleet who demonstrates exceptional commitment to their profession, while maintaining Maverick's standards of holding safety in the highest regard. At the end of the year, the Dedicated Driver of the Month committee will choose the Dedicated Driver of the Year, which is announced the following January.
